Deleting a Table

You can delete individual Dictionary or Data Level tables. If deleting a Dictionary table, all Data Level tables residing within that Dictionary table are recursively deleted. Complete these instructions to delete a table from a database.

To delete a table:

  1. Right-click the table to delete from the Domain Explorer and select the Delete Table option. Note that you can also select the table and press the DELETE key or drag the table to the Recycle Bin.

    If the Warnings Displayed option is enabled from the File Manger - Options dialog, the Delete table dialog box displays and confirmation is required. See File Manager Options for more information.

  2. Click Yes.

    The specified table is deleted and is removed from the Tables node in the Domain Explorer.
