Installing D3 Windows Server as a standalone server is the same as installing it as a peer-to-peer server.
The default folder locations for the D3 Windows Server components are as follows:
The D3Programs and Documentation folders are located in this directory:
C:\Program Files\TigerLogic\D3\
The D3Database and D3Virtual folders are located in the path specified by the Windows environment variable %ALLUSERSPROFILE%. For example, on some Windows implementations:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\TigerLogic\D3\
For typical Server installations, these features are included in the D3 Program group:
Device Manager: Configures VME devices and characteristics.
Activation: Activates the system.
File Manager: D3 File Manager.
Documentation: Includes Class Library Help, D3 Reference Manual, Release Notes, System Administration Guide, Users Guide, and the MVSP User's Guide and .NET & Java APIs (if you chose to install MVSP during a Custom installation).
License Agreement
TCL: Allows a remote VME connection through MS-DOS.
NOTE |
If performing a Custom installation, File Manager, D3 TCL, and D3 FlashBASIC from MS-DOS are not included in the program group if the Utilities feature is cleared in the Custom Setup screen. |
