t-space command

The t-space command moves the attached media forward a specified number of files, displaying each tape label as it is encountered.

Syntax

t-space {number}

Parameter(s)

number

Number of files to move forward. If not specified, the process stops and indicates that a count is required.

Example(s)

Moves the tape device forward 4 file marks. Each label displays.
