.set chapter command

The .set chapter sets the options for chapter headings. This command must precede any .chapter commands.

Syntax

.set chapter {options}

Parameter(s)

`options`	b	Boldface.
	i	Italics.
	u	Underline.
	s	Suppresses section numbers. The s option also suppresses the word `Chapter` followed by the chapter number from being output above the chapter heading. The chapters are still numbered internally, so the .prefix page command can still be used.
	r	Roman numeral chapter numbers.

Note: Options should be entered one after the other, and not separated with commas or spaces. Any combination of options may be used. However, some printers do not accept a combination of boldface, italics, and underline.
