Client installation options

This topic describes the installation options for the D3 Windows client.

D3 Windows Client folder

The default folder location for the D3 Windows Client is C:\Program Files\RocketSoftware\D3\ and includes the folder:

For typical Client installations, these features are included in the D3 Program group:

Documentation: Includes the D3 Reference Manual, D3 Release Notes, D3 User's Guide and the MVSP QuickStart Guide.
File Manager: D3 File Manager.
License Agreement.
TCL: Allows a remote VME connection through MS-DOS.

Note: If performing a Custom installation:

File Manager and TCL are not included in the program group if the Utilities feature is cleared in the Custom Setup screen.
If both the Utilities and Help features are cleared, the D3 Windows Client program group is not created.
