Edit the Properties of Multiple Objects

Use the Property Inspector to set a property on multiple subobjects to the same value. This can be useful, for example, if you want to have several fields use the same data type or same widget type.

  1. Select multiple objects in the worksheet editor.

You can use Ctrl + click to select individual objects, or Shift + click to select the first and last object in a range of objects.

Although it is possible to select objects of the different types, they have different properties, so there are few properties that could be usefully changed.

Only properties that are shared by all the selected objects are displayed. Properties that have different values show the value (DIFFER).

  2. Change the value of the desired property. for example, the DSP Widget Type.

Note:  It is not possible to change the value of the Name, Full Name, Location, or Inherits From properties.

The change is applied to all selected objects.
