CLSID
Internal class ID of the COM component. It is automatically provided when the ProgID is selected.
Description
Once the ProgID property is exited, the CLSID field is updated with the internal class ID of the ProgID.
Alternatively, you can enter a 32-hex-digit CLSID directly to confirm that the correct ProgID is entered.
If a ProgID is not valid, the CLSID is set to
<Unknown ProgID>, and the CLSID and Bind
To fields are unavailable.
If the COM Connector is not available, the CLSID
is set to <COM Driver not available>, and both the
CLSID and Bind To fields are dimmed.
