Description
Uniface checks data as it is entered. The default
is the fixed length of the field defined in the interface definition for the field. There is no
maximum if the field has an unlimited variable length (length defined as *).
If the field supports subfields, Maximum Field Length specifies the maximum number of characters allowed for each subfield, excluding separators.
