Alternative Name
This property defines a descriptive name for a palette. This name is displayed in the Resource Browser instead of the object name. It can contain up to 256 Unicode characters.

Usage
This property is only available if
Development Purpose is P (Palette) or T (Template).
Description
Palettes and their contents are made available in the Templates tab of the Resource Browser.
Uniface object names are restricted in length and type of characters, so you can use this property to provide a better and more readable name for the object than the Uniface object name. It should preferably be unique but this is not enforced.
