Modeled Properties
Modeled properties are development objects that can be reused in selected properties to enforce consistent patterns for storing, entering, and displaying data. You model properties for the Database Interface, Field Syntax, and Field Layout properties.
For example, you can create modeled properties for name fields that define the field length and allowed characters, or control how telephone numbers are displayed, or enforce a data entry pattern for email addresses that always includes an @ symbol and a dot.
When compiled, modeled properties are automatically stored in a library which is always available during development.
