Configure Uniface Router Recovery

If the Uniface Router fails for some reason, it is automatically restarted after 10 seconds.

  • To configure Uniface Router recovery on Microsoft Windows:
    • From the Start menu, choose Program Files >Administrative Tools >Services.
    • Select the Uniface Router service (for example, Uniface10 URouter), right-click and choose Properties.
    • In the Recovery tab, set the properties as desired.

      By default, the properties are set as follows:

      Subsequent FailuresTake No Action

      These settings ensure that if the Uniface Router stops again within 60 seconds, it is restarted after 30 seconds. If it crashes a second time in 60 seconds, it is not restarted.

  • On Unix, if you want to change the crash behavior, edit the urouter.sh.
