Grace Licenses

When using a cloud-served network license, your Entitlement may give you access to a grace period, known as a grace license. The grace period is determined by the terms of your Entitlement.

Grace licenses are only available on Windows and Linux.

A grace license provides continuity in the case of an unforeseen emergency, such as a network or server outage or disconnection. This ensures that the application continues to run until the end of the grace period, allowing time for the issue to be resolved without causing a denial of service.

A grace license does not need to be checked out; the application will have immediate access on the local system.

Note: Grace licenses are for emergencies. Should you need longer offline access, use a commuter license.
