Value and Representation

This widget supports the ValRep property. For convenience, you can edit the ValRep property of the field in the Widget Properties dialog, even though this is a field-level property rather than a widget property.

Value—value of the field (database or otherwise) when this item is selected.
Representation—label or image used to represent the item in the widget. For the drop-down list, list box, and drag-and-drop widgets, the Representation can also specify an icon.
