DBMS Connector Overview
This section provides an overview of supported functionality and limitations for all DBMS connectors.
Each Uniface database connector is identified in Uniface by a 3-character mnemonic, and each one has its own set of limits, SQL scripts and utilities, and properties that you can configure using the DBMS options provided.
For the supported platforms and product versions for your DBMS, refer to the Platform Availability Matrix.
The connector mnemonic is used in assignment files to designate the connector version, the path to the connector, and the options to be used. For more information, see [DRIVER_SETTINGS] and Paths and Path Assignments.
