Description
Stores empty Time and DateTime fields as 0-1-000. This assignment setting is only available for Oracle.
In Uniface 6.1, when Uniface stored an empty or incomplete date using the E6 packing code, the base date stored in the DBMS was 1-1-1900. This created a problem when you wanted to store the value 1-1-1900 in (linear) Time or (linear) DateTime fields, because Uniface recognized this date as being an empty field.
Since Uniface Seven, the default base date for NULL values using the E6 packing code is 0-1-0000. You must convert empty dates stored as 01-01-1900 in previous versions of Uniface.
