Description
In a character mode application, the setting $OLD_ASKMESS causes ProcScript askmess statements to be handled on the message line, as in V5.1, rather than in a dialog box.
Omitting the $OLD_ASKMESS setting causes the askmess statement to be handled in the standard manner, via a dialog box.
This setting is useful only for character mode
($GUI=$CHR).
