Core Memory Setting

The core memory setting in the pick0 file can now be set to a value as high as you like as long as you have enough physical RAM on your system to accommodate the setting. The default value for core during installation will be 90% of the available RAM at the time of running the D3_Setup utility. To increase the core memory setting, edit the core memory tag from the /usr/lib/pick/pick0 file.

Encryption

File Management

Flushers

Added the ability to run multiple flushers by adding a new flushers tag to the pick0 file for specifying the number of flusher processes to use for writing memory to disk. The maximum number of flushers supported is 63.

Host Authentication

Added the ability to control whether D3 prompts for logon credentials or whether D3 uses the client's Operating System credentials for logging on. This policy is implemented using the haforcecheck option of the d3 command. The SSL libraries must be installed on your system if you want to use Host Authentication.

Licensing

Enterprise licensing is available in 5 or 10 connections per client. It is an additional feature to the standard licensing scheme and can be obtained for any number of user licenses.
