The auto-xinet command is used to configure one or more blocks of telnet ports on D3.

auto-xinet <start_port> <port_count> <start_pib> <vmname> <pool_name> <(options> |
Parameter(s)
start_port |
Network port at which to start (must be greater than 1024). The available TCP ports can be verified from the etc/services file. |

port_count |
Number of telnet ports to start (1-65536). |
|
start_pib |
Starting D3 PIB (defaults to 1). |
|
vname |
Virtual Machine name (configuration file name). |
|
pool_name |
Name that defines this group of telnet sessions. Multiple pool names can be specified. |

options |
d |
Enables Data Carrier Detect (DCD) protocol handling. |
l |
Displays a list of defined pools. |
|
r |
Removes all nailed telnet ports. |
|
s |
Suppresses killing existing telnet processes. Must be specified in conjunction with the (r option. |
