Hot-Backup menus are divided in two sections:
Menu section, where menu options display.
Message section, where results, messages, or help display.
All Hot Backup operations are controlled through menus. If your terminal allows, use arrow keys where indicated. Otherwise, use these keys and key-combinations to move through the menus:
| Keys | Description |

| CTRL+N | Moves cursor down (down arrow). |
| CTRL+B | Moves cursor up (up arrow). |
| CTRL+X | Cancels. Applicable only when input is requested. |
Use these keys to quit or exit Hot Backup or Hot Backup menus:
| Key | Description |
|---|---|
| ESC | Quits and returns to previous menu or back to TCL. This key also terminates all menus. |
| Q | Quits and returns to previous menu. |
| X | Exits and returns to TCL from any menu. |
