Switching from the ActiveX control module to Web Start

The Web-to-Host Control Module is used to control the downloading of BlueZone emulation clients and related files.

Prerequisites

There are three versions: ActiveX, Java Web Start, and BlueZone Web Start. By default, the Wizard uses the ActiveX version for Internet Explorer and the Java Web Start and BlueZone Web Start version for all other browsers.
  1. Open the Web-to-Host Wizard.
  2. Select a site and click Next.
  3. Select a launch folder and click Next.
  4. Click Next to skip the Sessions window.
  5. In the Advanced Settings window, click Browser Config.
  6. Click the ActiveX LaunchTag tab.
  7. Select the Use Web Start for Internet Explorer Users check box.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click Next.
  10. In the Test Launch Folders window, test your changes.
  11. When finished, click Home to return to the Sites window or Quit to exit the Wizard.
