Testing upgraded sites

  1. On the main Sites page, choose a Site and click Next.
  2. Choose a Launch Folder and click Next three times, to reach the Test Launch Folders page.
Note: If you are running the Web-to-Host Wizard on a Microsoft platform with IIS enabled, we recommend you that you use the IIS web server. If you do not have IIS installed, can use the built-in web server to do your testing.
Note: If you attempt to enable the built-in web server and you receive the following message: Unable to start the Web server on the selected port. That port is in use. Please select another port or close the conflicting application. There is a web server, probably your IIS web server, already running on port 80. Select a different port, for example 8080, and try again.
  3. Click Test BlueZone to test this Launch Folder.
Note: When you click the Test BlueZone button, your default web browser will launch. If you want to test other browsers, you can either change those browsers to your default browser and use the Test BlueZone button, or you can launch those browsers manually, then paste in the URL of the Test Site.
Tip: If you single left click on the URL: text box, the Wizard will place the contents of the box (your test URL) into your clipboard. Then you can paste (CTRL + V) the test URL into your manually launched browsers.
