Site upgrade procedure

  1. Launch the Web-to-Host Wizard.
  2. Import your existing pre-7.1 Sites:
    1. On the main Sites page, click Import.
    2. In the Windows file dialog, select your first Site and click Open.
    3. Click OK to confirm the Import.
    4. Repeat this process until you have imported all of your Sites.
  3. License your existing pre-7.1 Sites:
    1. On the main Sites page, click License.
    2. In the Windows file dialog, select the location of your BlueZone.lic file and click Open.
    3. Click OK to confirm.
  4. Copy your existing pre-7.1 Sites:
    1. On the main Sites page, select one of your Sites and click Copy
    2. In the Windows file dialog, rename the Site with a unique name and click Open.
    3. Click OK to confirm the copy.
    4. Repeat this process until you have copied all of your Sites.
  5. Upgrade your copied pre-7.1 Sites:
    1. On the main Sites page, select a copied Site and click Upgrade
    2. Click OK to confirm the upgrade.
    3. Repeat this process until you have upgraded all of your Sites.
    Note: Starting with Web-to-Host version 7.1, Java Web Start technology replaces Java plug-in technology. Because of this change, there is an additional configuration change that has to be made for each Site that was upgraded from a pre-7.1 version to version 7.1 or later.
  6. On the main Sites page, choose a Site and click Next three times to reach the Advanced Settings page.
  7. Click the Browser Config. The Web Start tab appears.
  8. In the Site URL: edit box, enter the URL for this Site. Do not include the Launch Folder in the URL. Just the domain and Site. For example: http://www.mydomain.com/MySite
  9. Click OK, to close this page.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Click Home.
  12. Repeat this process for any additional Sites.
