Manually installing the BlueZone License File

If you already have your BlueZone License file, you can install it during the BlueZone Web-to-Host Wizard installation. However, if you did not have your BlueZone License file when you performed the Wizard installation, you can manually install it now.

Note: This procedure only applies to Licensed BlueZone Web-to-Host installations and not to evaluation installations. Evaluation installations must be performed using your evaluation BlueZone License file.
Note: If you did not install a BlueZone License file during the Web-to-Host Wizard installation, you can still use the Web-to-Host Wizard to create sites, launch folders, and BlueZone sessions. These BlueZone sessions will launch, but will not connect to a host without a valid BlueZone License file.
  1. Locate your BlueZone License file (BlueZone.lic), which was sent as an email attachment to you, or the person who ordered BlueZone Web-to-Host. This email would have been sent from Rocket Software Order Administration. The name of the file will be BlueZone.lic. The size of the LIC file is small, less than 1KB.

If you cannot locate your BlueZone License file, send an email to OrderAdmin-US@rocketsoftware.com with your name, company, and phone number requesting that your BlueZone License file be sent to you again.

  2. On the computer or web server where the BlueZone Web-to-Host Wizard is installed, navigate to the following location:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\BlueZone Web-to-Host\7.1
  3. Copy your BlueZone License file to this location.
From this point on, any new site that you create using the BlueZone Web-to-Host Wizard will use the BlueZone License file. Any existing sites that you created before you had your BlueZone License file will need to have your BlueZone License file copied to the Site location. If this is the case, use the following procedure to update your existing sites:
  1. On the web server where BlueZone Web-to-Host is installed, locate the site folders that you created with the Web-to-Host Wizard. You should have created at least one site. For example:

    C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\MySite

  2. Copy your BlueZone License file to the root of each site folder. Repeat this process for every Web-to-Host site folder on your web server.

Your BlueZone License file will be downloaded automatically to your users.
