Enabling power keys

Starting with BlueZone Version 4.0, the power keys feature was replaced with the new power pads feature. However, you can enable the old power keys feature.

About this task

Changing this setting in the default.ini file located in the \template folder enables this feature for all launch folders created after this change was made.

Procedure

On the web server, navigate to the site and template folder that you want to change. For example:
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\MySite\template
Open the default.ini file in any text editor.
In the [BlueZone] section, locate the EnablePowerKeys=No entry.
Change No to Yes.
Save and close the file.

Any new launch folders that are created from this point on, have the power keys feature enabled for all sessions. If you have already created one or more launch folders, you must go to each existing launch folder and edit the default.ini file, changing the EnablePowerKeys=No to EnablePowerKeys=Yes.

Tip: It is possible to enable the power keys feature for each existing launch folder individually. This is accomplished by editing the default.ini file located in only the launch folders that you want to change.
