By default, BlueZone Web-to-Host is not configured for
embedded deployment mode. In the standard Web-to-Host deployment
mode, BlueZone sessions are started in a separate window from the
browser.
BlueZone sessions can be embedded into the browser window, in either
Positioned mode where you can choose the exact height and width of the
BlueZone session in pixels or
Full Screen mode where the BlueZone session
occupies the full size of the browser window.
Note: This feature only works with Internet
Explorer and the ActiveX Web-to-Host Control Module.
Use this feature when you want to
make the BlueZone emulator client part of the web page, as opposed to floating on top of the web
page.
Note: This feature applies to the standard Web-to-Host deployment
mode only.
- Open the Web-to-Host Wizard.
- Select a site, or create a new one, and click Next.
- Select a launch folder, or create a new one, and click Next.
Note: You can only embed one BlueZone session in a web page.
Ensure that the launch folder that you selected has only one associated
session.
- Select the session.
- Click Next.
- In the Advanced Settings window, click Web-to-Host.
- Clear the Allow Protected Mode check
box.
- Select the Embed in Browser radio
button.
-
From the drop-down menu, select the one of the following position types:
- Position: Uses the settings in the
Options tab to define the exact height and width of the BlueZone
session in the browser.
- Full Screen: The BlueZone session occupies the entire browser
window. The size of the session is determined by the size of the browser window. The height
and width settings in the Options tab have no effect.
- If you selected Position in the
previous step, select the Options tab and modify
the LaunchPad Height and LaunchPad
Width fields. Define the size in pixels.
- Click OK.
From this point on, when you start the session in this
launch folder, the session is embedded in the browser, based on the
embedded mode settings you chose.
- Click Next.
The Test Launch Folders window open.
- Test your changes.
- When finished, click Home to return
to the Sites window or Quit to exit the Wizard.
