Uploading files to the web server

When you have used the Web-to-Host Wizard to successfully create and test at least one launch folder, you can copy or transfer the BlueZone Web-to-Host web server files to your web server for further testing.

Note: If you have the Web-to-Host Wizard installed on the same machine as your web server, this section does not apply to you. The Web-to-Host Wizard automatically copies your Web-to-Host web server files to the correct location on your web server.
Important: This section only applies to installations where the Web-to-Host Wizard is installed on one machine and the web server is located on a completely separate machine.
  • Uploading to Windows IIS web server
    This procedure assumes that you have the Web-to-Host Wizard installed on a Windows Vista or later workstation, and that you are familiar with the Microsoft Windows IIS web server that you want to use as your BlueZone Web-to-Host web server.
  • Uploading to z/OS or OS/390 HTTP server
    The BlueZone Web-to-Host web server files can be served up from any web server including the IBM HTTP server that ships with Z/OS and OS/390. The IBM HTTP server is based on Apache and runs in Open MVS.
  • Uploading to iSeries HTTP web server
    The BlueZone Web-to-Host web server files can be served up from any web server including the IBM HTTP server that ships with the AS/400 and iSeries hosts. The IBM HTTP server is based on Apache.
  • Uploading to other web servers
    If you want to upload the BlueZone Web-to-Host web server files to a web server that is not listed, follow this general procedure.
