Served Desktop settings

For sessions that are configured for served desktop, you can configure the BlueZone Desktop installation directory.

If you are concerned about web server accessibility, this feature allows you to provide a secondary web server with identical Web-to-Host site files for the purpose of providing BlueZone updates if the primary server goes down or is unreachable.

When you create a served desktop launch page, a desktop shortcut for the BlueZone Session Manager is automatically created on the user’s desktop.

Add the Session Manager to your users’ Windows startup folder. Then when the Session Manager is opened in Windows, it automatically checks the web server for updates.

By default, BlueZone Session Manager opens immediately after all the BlueZone emulation clients have been downloaded and installed.

By default, after all of the BlueZone emulation clients are downloaded and installed, all of the configured BlueZone sessions start. If you prefer a totally quiet installation, you can choose to suppress the starting of the configured BlueZone session when the installation is complete.

When you use BlueZone Web-to-Host in the served desktop deployment mode, BlueZone Session Manager can deliver updates to your users.

Using the Session Manager icon, users can open the Session Manager from the Windows taskbar, start sessions, and check for updates.
