Deployment considerations

The following sections describe the deployment considerations for each operating system.

  • Browser support
    BlueZone Web-to-Host works with virtually all browsers.
  • Non-Admin ActiveX Control feature
    BlueZone Web-to-Host versions prior to 6.1 required users to have administrative privileges in order to install the BlueZone Web-to-Host Control Module, which is an ActiveX Control.
  • ActiveX deployment
    The following outline describes using BlueZone Web-to-Host with Windows Vista, or newer and Internet Explorer:

    BlueZone Web-to-Host provides three different deployment modes of the BlueZone clients. You use the Wizard to select and configure the deployment mode that you want.
