Importing certificates

  1. On the client computer, start Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Tools Internet Options.
  3. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Content tab.
  4. In the Certificates section, click Certificates.
  5. In the Certificates dialog box, click Import.
    The Certificate Import Wizard opens.
    1. On the Welcome to the Certificate Import Wizard page, click Next.
    2. On the File to Import page, click Browse and navigate to the location containing the saved certificates.
    3. In the File type list box, select Personal Information Exchange (*.pfx, *.p12). This displays all files with .pfx and .p12 extensions.
    4. Select the certificate (.pfx or .p12) file that you saved previously, click Open, and then click Next.
    5. On the Password page, type the password in the Password field and click Next.
    6. On the Certificate Store page, click Place all certificates in the following store. In the Certificate store box, specify Personal and click Next.
    7. On the Completing the Certificate Import Wizard page, click Finish.
    8. In the message box that opens, click OK.
  6. In the Certificates dialog box, click Close.
  7. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
