Configuring the power pad properties

You can configure the title, associated terminal emulation type and configuration profile, docking position, size, position, and background color of the power pad.

  1. Right-click in the power pad canvas. In the Power Pad Properties window, complete the following fields:

    Field Description
    Caption Defines the power pad window title.
    Emulation Type Select the emulation type that the power pad is used in. When you create a power pad, the emulation type is set automatically.
    Dock Position Select the position of the power pad when it is docked. This option automatically docks a power pad when it is activated through the BlueZone Host Automation Object or another pad's Toggle Power Pad action.
    Associate Pad with Profile Associate a configuration profile to the power pad. When you create a power pad, this field is set to the profile that was used to create it. Click Browse to select a different configuration profile.
    Background Color Displays the currently selected background color. Click Change to modify the background color.
    XPos Defines the position of the power pad, in pixels, from the left side of the screen. You can also reposition the window in the Power Pad Editor, and this value is updated.
    YPos Defines the position of the power pad, in pixels, from the top of the screen. You can also reposition the window in the Power Pad Editor, and this value is updated.
    Width Defines the width of the power pad window, in pixels. You can also resize the window in the Power Pad Editor, and this value is updated.
    Height Defines the height of the power pad window, in pixels. You can also resize the window in the Power Pad Editor, and this value is updated.
  2. Click OK.
