Switching from the ActiveX control module to the Java control module

The Web-to-Host Control Module is used to control the downloading of BlueZone emulation clients and related files.

There are two versions: ActiveX and Java. By default, the Wizard uses the ActiveX version for Internet Explorer and the Java version for Netscape and other Java-enabled browsers.

To configure BlueZone Web-to-Host to use the Java Web-to-Host Control Module for all browsers:

  1. Open the Web-to-Host Wizard.
  2. Select a site and click Next.
  3. Select a launch folder and click Next.
  4. In the Sessions window, click Next.
  5. In the Advanced Settings window, click Object Tag.
  6. Select the Use Java for Internet Explorer Users check box.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Next.
  9. In the Test Launch Folders window, test your changes.
  10. When finished, click Home to return to the Sites window or Quit to exit the Wizard.
