You can lock certain BlueZone features. When a BlueZone
feature is locked, the user can still open the corresponding window,
but the OK button in the window is disabled,
preventing the user from making any changes.
If you do not want locked windows to display, refer to Hiding locked dialogs for more information.
The
BlueZone Secure FTP client can inherit the lock status of certain
features. These features are noted below. BlueZone Secure FTP has
its own lock dialog that is accessed through the FTP Locks window.
Refer to Locking BlueZone FTP commands and features for more information.
- Open the Web-to-Host Wizard.
- Select a site and click Next.
- Select a launch folder and click Next.
- In the Sessions window, click Next.
- In the Advanced Settings window, click GUI Locks.
- Select the settings that you want to lock.
- Click OK.
- Click Next.
- In the Test Launch Folders window, test your changes.
- When finished, click Home to return
to the Sites window or Quit to exit the Wizard.
The following settings have additional information on the
lock options:
- Tool Bar
- Inheritable by BlueZone FTP. This item can be inherited by BlueZone
FTP. To enable inheriting, you must select the Inherit
BlueZone Menu Locks check box on the FTP Locks tab.
- File Properties
- Inheritable by BlueZone FTP. This item can be inherited by BlueZone
FTP. To enable inheriting, you must select the Inherit
BlueZone Menu Locks check box on the FTP Locks tab.
- Session Configure
- Inheritable by BlueZone FTP. This item can be inherited by BlueZone
FTP. To enable inheriting, you must select the Inherit
BlueZone Menu Locks check box on the FTP Locks tab.
- IND$File Transfer
- Mainframe only. This feature applies only to BlueZone Mainframe
Display.
- PrintQueue Settings
- Printer only. This feature applies only to Printer Sessions.
