Enabling Kerberos Authentication Protocol

Kerberos is a computer network authentication protocol that allows individuals communicating over an insecure network to prove their identity to one another in a secure manner.

Kerberos prevents eavesdropping or replay attacks and ensures the integrity of the data. It provides mutual authentication; both the user and the server verify each other's identity.
Note: Kerberos Authentication Protocol is available only in the BlueZone VT Display emulator.

To enable Kerberos Authentication Protocol:

  1. Open the Web-to-Host Wizard.
  2. Select a site and click Next.
  3. Select a launch folder and click Next.
  4. In the Sessions window, click Next.
  5. In the Advanced Settings window, click Features.
  6. Select the Kerberos check box.
Enabling this feature causes the Kerberos CAB file to be added to the list of files (default.dst) to be downloaded.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Next.
  9. In the Test Launch Folder window, test your changes.
  10. When finished, click Home to return to the Sites window or Quit to exit the Wizard.
