The ezClear Utility is a small Windows executable program that does not require installation. It is opened through any launch page or by double-clicking the ezclear.exe file.
The ezClear Utility assists you when BlueZone configurations are first being tested and deployed. ezClear Utility provides an easy way to quickly erase all of the BlueZone Web-to-Host files from a user's test computer.
In any launch page, click Get or run ezClear.
In the BlueZone CD image, open the BlueZone Web-to-Host\manual-upgrade folder and double-click the ezclear.exe file.
The ezClear Utility can also be run through the command line using command line switches. Refer to ezClear command line switches for more information.
The following options are available in the ezClear Utility:
If the ezClear Utility is run without selecting any options, the BlueZone Web-to-Host Control Module (ActiveX) and the BlueZone program files are deleted from the user's computer.
Delete All User Files (Profiles, Scripts, Transfer Files, etc.): Deletes the BlueZone Web-to-Host Control Module (ActiveX), the BlueZone program files, and the user's BlueZone working files from their computer.
Uninstall ActiveX Controls: Removes the Web-to-Host ActiveX Control Module from Internet Explorer's available objects.
Delete All Internet Cached Files (except URL History and Cookies): Deletes the browser cache. Use this option to ensure that the latest version of the Web-to-Host launch page is downloaded during the next downloading of BlueZone Web-to-Host.
Uninstall BlueZone Served Desktop: Deletes only the BlueZone files when you have deployed BlueZone in the served desktop mode. If you are using BlueZone in the standard Web-to-Host mode, do not select this check box.
Select the option(s) that you want, or leave all of the options cleared, and click Yes to run the ezClear Utility. Click Cancel to exit the ezClear Utility.
