Configuring profile schemes

To configure the profile schemes feature:
  1. Determine the features that your users can customize and the features they cannot.
  2. If you are deploying standard Web-to-Host, use the Wizard to ensure that all of your sessions have the Allow Local Save? option selected.
  3. Use the Wizard to set any GUI locks for features that you do not want your users to be able to change. Refer to GUI Locks settings for more information.
  4. Determine the BlueZone configuration features that you want to be able to override.
  5. Use the Wizard to configure each of your emulation sessions. Refer to Creating sites, launch folders, and sessions for more information.
  6. In each session that you are configuring, click File Properties and select the Profile Schemes tab.
  7. Select all of the check boxes next to the features that you want to be able to override.
  8. Save all of the sessions.
Note: Selecting all of the check boxes gives you the most flexibility. For each check box that you select, a corresponding file is created in the \config folder on all your users’ machines. It gets created the first time that they save their BlueZone configuration. This is nothing to be concerned about but you should be aware that this happens.
