The
global.ini file allows you to customize the following BlueZone
features:
- Main menu bar appearance
- HLLAPI auto-launch feature
- LU name mapping feature
- VT Display font size
- Direct/Modem feature
- FTP command timeout values
- FTP set default packet size feature
- Backup working directory feature
- Keyboard activity timer
- Append version to working directory feature
- Allow cross version interoperability feature
- Hide dialog button feature
- Help launch options
The global.ini file is shipped with BlueZone and is located
in the BlueZone Desktop installation source directory.
When a BlueZone session is started, BlueZone checks the
global.ini file; the contents are read and the BlueZone
application desktop is changed accordingly.
Note: When you include a
global.ini file as part of your BlueZone distribution
image, the BlueZone installation wizard automatically places the
global.ini file in the user's BlueZone installation
directory.
Refer to the following topics for more information on
each section of the global.ini file. The blue text are values
you can configure to match your requirements and the text in black are comments; do
not edit this text.
When editing the global.ini file,
you may only need to change a value. In other cases you may have to uncomment out an
item by deleting the semicolon from the beginning of the line. Lines starting with a
semicolon are commented out and are ignored by the BlueZone installation program.
