Installing signing certificates as a trusted root
Signing certificate trusted roots are necessary to authenticate the Client's certificate chain to the Server when the Client
Certificate is presented during the initial SSL negotiation. Installing the Signing Certificate as a Trusted Root results
in a unique "hashed" representation of the file with an alpha-numeric file name and a .0 to .9 extension.
Note
If the clients are not being used to authenticate users, the Signing Certificate Trusted Root does not need to be installed.
