Adding LUs, devices, or answerbacks

On the Administrator home page navigation bar, click LU/Device. The LU/Devices - All page displays.

Type the name of the LU, device, or answerback that you want to add in the LU/Device Name field. |

Select the corresponding Session Type from the drop-down list:

LUs are associated with Mainframe Display and Printer sessions |
|
• |
Devices are associated with iSeries Display and Printer sessions. |
|
• |
Answerbacks are associated with BlueZone VT Display sessions. |
|

Set the Unique attribute to True or False. The Unique attribute is used to tell Web Manager whether this item is going to be used exclusively by one user or if it is shared by
many users. True means that the item is only used by one user. False means that it can be shared.

Click Add to add the item to the database. The newly created item appears in the LU/Devices list.
