Current group
When in the Web Manager, there is always a group in focus, the current group. When you enter the Groups section, Web Manager displays the attributes of the current group. When you enter the Users section, Web Manager displays the users of the current group. In the far left navigation bar at the very bottom is a box labeled Current Group which always displays the name of the group in focus.
Changing the current group
Select the desired group from the drop-down list on the action bar. The group automatically displays.
Groups window
The Groups window has three divisions: a large center section labeled Group Sessions, displaying the sessions assigned to the group; and two small sections labeled Group Files and Hosts Options located on the right side of the page.
Group sessions
The groups sessions area displays the session type (for example, Mainframe Display), the configuration file associated to the session, and any options or switches. There are three icons associated with each session:
•  Image Modify - click to modify session options
•  Image Copy - click to duplicate the session
•  Image Delete - click to delete the session.
These icons are used throughout the application to perform the given actions on the item in context: modify, copy, and delete.

Group files
This section lists the files that are distributed with each BlueZone application type. All associated files are downloaded to the user on the first connection/launch of the given application type. Upon subsequent connections, only newer files are distributed to the user. A file is newer only if it has been added to the file list after the last connection or if a file of the same name has been uploaded through the Files section.
To the left of the application type there is a triangular icon (Image) pointing to the right. To display the files in the distribution list, click the triangle. The associated files appear below the application type and the icon becomes a down triangle (Image). Click the icon again to close the list.
To the right of the application type there is a modify icon (Image). Click on this icon to go to the Associate Files page. You can also access this page through the action bar at the top of the page using the Associate Files action.
Hosts options
This section allows you to modify the look of the launch page that is presented to the end users. Host options only affect the currently selected group. So it is possible to have a different look for each defined group. The options that can be changed are as follows:
•  View: There are two view options: icon view and list view. Icon view is the default. List view presents more information about the sessions than icon view.
•  View Filter: The View Filter is a drop-down list box that allows the end user to filter the launch page by BlueZone session type. If desired, the administrator can select a specific BlueZone session type as the default. The View Filter can still be changed by the end user if the Show View Filter option is enabled.
•  Icons Per Row : Allows the administrator to set the number of icons per row. The default is three. This setting only affects the launch page when icon view is enabled.
•  Show Long Type: If enabled, the type of BlueZone session is displayed in icon view. For example, Mainframe Display. In list view, the session type is always displayed.
•  Use Java for IE: By default, Web Manager uses the ActiveX Web-to-Host control module for Internet Explorer (IE) browsers and the Java Web-to-Host control module for all non-IE browsers that support Java. If enabled, The Web Manager uses the Java Web-to-Host control module for all browsers including IE.
•  Show View Switch: If enabled, the View Switch link appears on the launch page. The end user can select between the icon view or list view.
•  Show View Filter: If enabled, the View Filter drop-down list box appears at the top of the launch page.
