Enabling mail notification
When the mail notification property is enabled, an e-mail is sent to the configured recipients when the pool starts and stops. An e-mail is also sent if a session is disconnected from the pool and then it fails to reconnect.
1. In the Pools panel, highlight the desired pool.
2. In the Property Grid panel, locate the MailNotification property and click the Image icon next to its value.
The Pool Mail notification setting dialog opens.
3. Type the desired SMTP Host.
4. Type the desired SMTP Port. By default, this is set to 25.
5. In the Sender field, type the e-mail address of the sender.
6. In the Recipients section, type an e-mail address of a recipient and click >.
The address appears HostFront Pool Manager Email Recipients section.
To remove an e-mail address, highlight the desired address and click <.
7. Add any remaining e-mail addresses.
8. To test these settings, click Test Send/Receive.
All of the e-mail addresses are validated through .NETs Match class.
9. Click Enable to enable the mail notification feature.
If you do not want to enable this property, click Disable.
The window closes and the mail notification property is either enabled or disabled depending on your selection.
