Starting Keyboard Editor
Follow the step below to start Keyboard Editor:
Select Tools Keyboard Editor.
The Keyboard Editor window opens and the default keyboard is displayed.

The Keyboard Editor window is divided into three sections:
1. Function and information bars:
•  The menu bar and toolbar allow you to create, open, and save keyboard profiles, display the Toolbar or the Status Bar, and view the online help.
•  The status bar displays program information as you work.
•  The keyboard layout displays the key positions for each command, character, or function. Clicking on any key in the layout displays the current key assignment in the Key Properties Panel.
2. Key properties panes:
•  The Modifier check boxes are used to display and assign the keyboard functions for the Ctrl, Alt, or Shift keys.
•  The Type list box is used to display and assign or clear selected keys by types of key functions, each group is composed of many keys or functions
•  The Key list box is used to select and assign individual characters or functions in the type selected in the Type list box.
3. The command buttons are used to apply the selected settings to the keys in the keyboard layout:
•  Assign
•  Reset
•  Clear
•  Clear All.
