Starting the cluster
After configuring all the cluster items, you can start the services and then your users will be able to connect.
There are three methods to start the cluster:
•  Start all services on the server machines at once.
•  Start the emulation servers separately.
•  Start the cluster services separately.
1. To start all the server machines:
a. In Host Access Manager (HAM), select the Services Status node in the cluster tree, then right-click on the node and select Start all services.
2. There are two methods to start the [emulation] servers:
•  Right-click on the Servers node in the Cluster tree and select Start Start all. The sub-menu presents options to start each type of emulation separately by selecting the corresponding command.
•  Click on the Servers node and then right-click on the servers in the right pane one by one and select the Start command with the appropriate sub menu.
3. There are two methods to start the cluster services:
•  Right-click on the Cluster Services node and select Start all.
•  Click on the Cluster Services node and then right-click on the cluster services in the right pane one by one and select the Start or Start All command.
Users can now connect using the following (default) URLs:
•  3270 Service: HTTP://clusterserviceIP/BZHTML_3270/AX3270.HTM
•  5250 Service: HTTP://clusterserviceIP/BZHTML_5250/AX400.HTM
•  VT Service: HTTP://clusterserviceIP/BZHTML_VT100/AXVT100.HTM
