General configuration rules and requirements
The following rules outline the basic configuration rules of Host Access Manager.
•  Install the HostFront Server or BlueZone Access Server software on all the machines that will act as servers or cluster service servers prior to configuring them. You cannot add a server or cluster service to a cluster definition without first installing the software on your machines.
•  Enter your license keys before configuring your cluster. You will only be able to create a host of the same emulation type as the license key that you enter.
•  The same license key cannot be used more than once, whether in one or more clusters.
•  Session definitions are related to hosts. Therefore, create your hosts before creating your sessions.
•  A session that is assigned to one group is still available to other groups.
•  Changes to the following parameters take effect only after restarting all services:
♦  Any port number
♦  Any IP address or computer name including the public name of a server
♦  Enabling or disabling logging
♦  Enabling or disabling data encryption
♦  Enabling or disabling daily shutdown
♦  Session weights
