File menu
The File menu contains the following options:
Save View
When you connect to a cluster, the cluster’s definition is added to your HAM view. Information about new cluster connections can be saved locally so that the next time you start HAM, the cluster definition will be available for you. To save the changes you made by adding or removing cluster definitions, select this menu item. If you connect to a cluster and then choose not to save the view upon exiting HAM, the next time you open the HAM application on the same computer, it will not have the cluster definition you added.
This command is equivalent to clicking on the Save button on the toolbar.
Create a Cluster
Enabled only when you select the Host Access Manager node in the left pane. Use this command to create the database structure required for the cluster configuration (the profile). This command can also be accessed by clicking on the New button and in the context menu that appears when you right-click on the Host Access Manager node in the left pane.
Connect to Cluster
Enabled only when you select the Host Access Manager node in the left pane. Use this command to connect to an existing cluster database. Using this command adds the definition of the cluster to the HAM view on your computer. This command can also be accessed by clicking on the New button and in the context menu that appears when you right-click on the Host Access Manager node in the left pane.
Clear Cluster Database
Clears the cluster database information.
Print Profile
Provides a CSV file of the cluster information.
Exit
Closes the Host Access Manager application. If you made changes to your views by connecting to new clusters or removing existing ones, you will be prompted to save you view if you have not done so already using the Save view command (in this menu) or the Save button.
