On the BlueZone menu bar, click Options → API. The API Properties dialog opens.

Click the Trace tab.

Ensure that only the Trace HLLAPI Interface check box is selected.

Ensure that you have a valid path to a trace file. For example: C:\Documents and Settings\my.account\My Documents\BlueZone\Traces\hllapi.trc

Click Start Trace.

Launch your HLLAPI application and execute a command that sends or receives data from your host.

When you are finished, on the BlueZone menu bar, click Options → API and click the Trace tab.

Click Stop Trace.

Browse to the location where your trace file is stored. To view the trace, open it with Notepad.
