This procedure is intended for a new, first time installation of BlueZone. If an older version of BlueZone is already installed
on the target machine, please refer to Upgrading BlueZone. If you already have BlueZone installed and you wish to add or
remove a BlueZone component or feature, please refer to Modifying BlueZone.
Note
There are a number of BlueZone optional features that cannot be selected or configured using the following InstallShield Wizard
User Interface. These options are intended to be configured by a BlueZone Administrator. Review these features before installing
BlueZone. Refer to
Optional features for more information.

Insert the BlueZone CD-ROM into your computer's CD/DVD drive. The Welcome to BlueZone screen opens.

Click BlueZone Desktop and select the BlueZone Desktop link. The Choose Setup Language screen opens.
|

Select the desired language from the drop-down list and click OK. The Welcome to InstallShield Wizard for BlueZone screen opens.

Click Next. The License Agreement screen opens.
|

To proceed, select the I accept the terms in the license agreement radio button and click Next. The Destination Folder screen opens.

Change the Installation and Working Directories as needed or accept the default (recommended) and click Next. The Component Selection screen opens.
|

Review the default selections. Use the scroll bar on the right hand side view all components. By default, some BlueZone components are selected for installation
and some are not. The components that have a diskette icon are installed and the components that have a red X icon are not
installed.

Click the BlueZone components you want to change. Also, choose whether you want BlueZone to be available to all users of just
yourself.
Note For a description of a particular component, highlight the component and read the Feature Description on the right hand side
of the screen.

Click Next. The Choose Activation File screen opens.
If you have a Software Activation File (SAF) stored on your hard drive, browse to it now so that the file is automatically
installed into your BlueZone installation folder during the installation process. If you do not have a Software Activation
File at this time, you can skip this dialog by clicking Next. You can manually copy your Software Activation File to your BlueZone installation folder later.
Note Single user license holders: If you have purchased a BlueZone single user license, you do not receive a Software Activation
File, you receive a BlueZone Installation Key instead. Single user license holders must run the SEAGULL Registration Wizard
to complete the installation process.

Click Next. The Ready to Install the Program screen opens.

Click Install. The Wizard installs the required BlueZone files on your computer. When the installation is complete, you receive a message
that the BlueZone installation was completed successfully.

Click Finish to exit the Wizard. |
