Kermit file transfer (VT)
The Host File Transfer property sheet is used to configure Kermit Options in BlueZone VT. To invoke the Host File Transfer property sheet, from the BlueZone menu bar, click Transfer Configure. The Host File Transfer property sheet displays the Transfer, Advanced, and Batch Transfers tabs.
Host transfer toolbar
The Host File Transfer toolbar is located at the lower left hand corner of the Host File Transfer dialog. It is used to control several aspects of the file transfer process.

Icon Name Description
Image Default icon Sets the current configuration settings back to their default values.
Image Import icon Imports a configuration file for this specific dialog.
Image Save icon Saves the current configuration settings.
Image Export icon Exports or saves the current dialog's configuration to a file.
Image Send File icon Initiates the sending of a file from the host system to your PC.
Image Receive File icon Initiates the receiving of a file from your PC to the host system.
Image Help icon Launches BlueZone Help.
Transfer tab
The Transfer tab is used to enter the names of the files that you want to transfer.
Host File
File Name: Type the name of the file that you want to transfer from the Host to your PC.
PC File
File Name: Type the name of the file that you want to transfer from your PC to the host.
File Options
Select one of the following file transfer modes:
•  ASCII
•  Binary
•  Auto-Detect
Advanced tab
The Advanced tab of the Host File Transfer property sheet is used to configure Kermit file transfer settings. Options include:
Kermit Options
•  Checksum: Select the desired Checksum type from the drop-down listbox.
•  Packet Size: Type the desired Packet Size in the editbox.
•  Window Size: Type the desired Window Size in the editbox.
•  Server Mode: Enable this option if you want to operate in the Server Mode.
•  Use PC Time for Time Stamp: Enable this option if you prefer to use the PC time to time stamp file transfers as opposed to the server time.
Default Transfer Path
Select the desired Default Transfer Path for the saving of transferred files.
•  Browse: Click to browse to the location that you wish to use for Kermit file transfers.
Host Commands
•  Send Command: This editbox is used to place the desired Kermit Send Command string when sending files to the host. If you require a different Kermit Send Command, make those changes here in the editbox.
•  Receive Command: This editbox is used to place the desired Kermit Receive Command string when receiving files from the host. If you require a different Kermit Receive Command, make those changes here in the editbox.
•  Server Startup Command: This editbox is used to place the desired Kermit Startup Command string when connecting to the host. If you require a different Kermit Startup Command, make those changes here in the editbox.
