Launching BlueZone License Manager

Procedure:

  1. To launch the BlueZone License Manager desktop console, locate the BlueZone Program Group by clicking the Windows Start button.  Under Programs you should find BlueZone::License Manager.

  2. When the BlueZone License Manager launches, the BlueZone License Manager Service will not be running.  Start the service by clicking the Start Server icon located on the ToolBar.

NOTE  By default, the BlueZone License Manager Service is set to Automatic.  So if the BlueZone License Manager server is ever restarted, the BlueZone License Manager Service will automatically start.  You can verify this by opening Windows Services and locating the BlueZone License Manager Service and verifying that the "Startup Type", is set to Automatic.

  1. Check to make sure that the correct number of Concurrent Licenses appears in the "Any" box on the License Manager StatusBar as shown here:

In this example the number of Concurrent Licenses purchased is 1000, and the number of currently connected sessions is zero.

NOTE  If after you start the License Manager for the first time, you receive the following warning...

you have either installed the License Manger without a License Key, or you may have entered the License Key incorrectly.  Please double check the key to make sure that it is correct and try again.
