Administrator Interface
On the Administrator
Home Page, click the Groups icon
or link. The
Current Group
will be displayed.
Click the Create
New Group button on the Action
Bar. The
Create New Group page will be
displayed
Enter the desired Group name and click the Create Group button.
A green confirmation message will be displayed and the newly created group will become the Current Group.
On the Administrator
Home Page, click the Groups icon
or link. The
Current Group
will be displayed.
From the Action Bar select the Group from the drop down menu that you wish to copy.
Click the Copy
Group button on the Action
Bar. The
Duplicate Group page will be displayed.
Enter the New Group Name and click the Duplicate Group button.
A green confirmation message will be displayed and the newly copied group will become the Current Group.
NOTE Coping
a group, only copies the assigned sessions and associate files, it does
not copy Users.
On the Administrator
Home Page, click the Groups icon
or link. The
Current Group
will be displayed.
From the Action Bar select the Group from the drop down menu that you wish to delete.
Click the Delete
Group button on the Action
Bar. The
Delete Group page will be displayed.
On the Delete Group page, you can choose to delete only the users from this Group, delete the Group including all assigned Users, or you can delete the Group and copy the Users to an existing Group.
Choose the desired option from the drop down list and click the Delete Group button.
A green confirmation message will be displayed and the Default Group will become the Current Group.
On the Administrator
Home Page, click the Groups icon
or link. The
Current Group
will be displayed.
From the Action Bar select the Group from the drop down menu that you wish to modify.
In the Group
Files pane located on the right, click the modify icon () located next to the session type you wish to modify, e.g.
"Mainframe Display".
The Associate Files page will be displayed. The left pane is labeled Associated Files and contains the list of files that will be distributed with this session type. The right pane is labeled Available Files and contains the list of files on the server which are available to add to the Distribution List.
To dd a file to the Distribution List, select the file in the Available Files pane and click the add button located at the bottom of the pane. The file will now appear in the Associated Files pane and a green confirmation message will be displayed.
To remove a file from the distribution list, select it in the Associated Files pane and click the remove button located at the bottom of the pane. The file will now appear in the Available Files pane and a green confirmation message will be displayed.
NOTE To
make a file available for distribution, upload it to Java Web Manager
using the Files link.
