Web Manager provides a mechanism to upload files into the application. This mechanism provides a number of benefits:
It provides version tracking for Web Manager
It is convenient for the administrator
It does not require an additional application (FTP)
It provides HTTP access where network access and FTP access are denied
It provides secure upload if HTTPS is enabled
It prevents the upload of inappropriate file types
